A very warm welcome to Richard Durning’s Endowed Primary School. The purpose of this Web site is to provide you with essential information and gain an understanding of the school’s aims, values and organisation.
The staff and governors at Richard Durning’s Endowed Primary School believe that the main aim of our school is to help every individual child achieve of their very best. We aim to create a warm, caring environment in which children feel happy and respected and will be helped to reach their potential. We believe that every child in our school should experience the confidence that comes with success.
Our values and aims are detailed in our mission statement. This permeates all aspects of school life. We strongly believe that our children are at the heart of all we do.
We firmly believe that children are more likely to flourish and reach their full potential when parents and school work closely together towards common goals. We genuinely do have an “open door” policy where we pride ourselves on keeping parents well informed. We value working with you – the child’s first and enduring educators.
Visitors are always welcome at Richard Durning’s. It is only by visiting the school and seeing the teachers, pupils and parents working together that the real atmosphere of the school can be experienced.
